New Surphaser Model 400 Scans to 300 Meters

Surphaser is at SPAR 3D introducing it new Model 400 laser scanner, which expands on Surphaser’s existing line of small, light, and compact laser scanners. Weighing in at 5.5 kg, the scanner is intended for applications in asset management, BIM, and construction.

The Model 400 boasts distances of up to 300 meters, with a 3D error less than 0.9 mm at a range of 15 feet. The scanner also boasts sub-millimeter noise out to 160 meters, as well as two scanning speeds—208,000 or 832,000 points per second.

As with other Surphaser models, the scanner includes an internal battery and onboard control.
