Product lifecycle management (PLM) software, including the Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE cloud platform, has reached a level of maturity that is making a real difference to manufacturing-related companies. The integrated platforms can provide a space for collaboration between departments on complex engineering and design tasks. But getting a PLM system up and running is still no easy organizational task.
To deliver high-quality services and support for Dassault Systèmes (DS) 3DEXPERIENCE implementations, Razorleaf Corporation, a consulting, and systems integrator, has partnered with Hawk Ridge Systems, a leading global provider of 3D design, manufacturing, and 3D printing solutions.
Designed to empower businesses and people to innovate in entirely new ways and create products and services using virtual experiences, DS 3DEXPERIENCE provides a real-time view of business activity and ecosystem, connecting people, ideas, and data, acting as a marketplace, or trading platform, that connects service providers and buyers. Used in various industries, including engineering and construction, architecture, aerospace and defense, transportation and mobility, marine and offshore, and industrial equipment, the platform provides an easy-to-use interface to help everyone involved in innovation projects interact to imagine, design, simulate and deliver differentiated customer experiences.
Founded in 2000 to provide deep technical expertise that helps design engineering teams develop better products faster, cheaper, and more efficiently, Razorleaf takes another step towards that goal with this new partnership. Led by a highly skilled and seasoned team of experts across the United States and Europe, Razorleaf wants to help Hawk Ridge’s clients move to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to boost productivity and bring products to market faster. To achieve that, the company will provide PLM consulting, implementation, integration, and managed services as well as support, which will work as a seamless extension of the Hawk Ridge Systems Professional Services team for 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA customers.
"Partnering with Hawk Ridge Systems is a great fit for our organization," said Razorleaf CEO Eric Doubell. " Driving adoption of technology is what makes the difference in a successful implementation; the challenge is establishing the strategic technology roadmap for the implementation and then executing that plan. We look forward to working with Hawk Ridge Systems as they help their customers achieve their PLM goals."
Aligned in the same markets and initiatives for PLM as Razorleaf, Hawk Ridge Systems believes Razorleaf’s data management capabilities in mixed product environments, and its OnPoint implementation methodology are a great asset for their customers.
"Standing up ENOVIA environments can be challenging for our customers using SOLIDWORKS data on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform so we are pleased that our clients will benefit from the deep expertise of Razorleaf's technical team," said Jon Toews, Director of Product Strategy at Hawk Ridge Systems. "We researched the 3DEXPERIENCE ecosystem for a partner that had proven success implementing the platform, and Razorleaf stood out as a leader.”
After bringing its services to 16 states in the US last year, these newly added services should help Hawk Ridge to reach a broader audience and continue its quest for full coverage of the US and Canada.
