At Geo Week 2024, the Geo Week News team has the opportunity to meet face-to-face with so many of the industry insiders and leaders who we spend so much of the year talking to virtually and writing about. Some of these conversations are simply catch ups, and others are opportunities to learn more about the companies and give their leaders an opportunity to speak directly to our audience about what they were showcasing on the show floor.
Among the companies we had a chance to interview on camera at the show this year was RIEGL, who always has one of the most impressive booths at Geo Week featuring the latest laser scanning hardware for a number of different sectors. We had the chance to get some background on a few of those on display from RIEGL's Michael Sitar, who serves as a Division Manager for the company's airborne laser scanning division. He discussed the various airborne scanning units that were on display at the booth, along with some of the topobathymetric sensors.
