For the past few years, Bentley has held its annual Year in Infrastructure conference in London. This year, YII will make the move to Singapore on October 10-12, putting the conference in Asia for the first time.
About this year’s YII, Bentley says “attendees will have an opportunity to hear from thought leaders in the industry, engage in interactive sessions that explore the intersection of technology and business drivers, and see what technologies and best practices will shape the future of infrastructure delivery.”
In an official statement, Bentley Systems CEO Greg Bentley praised Singapore for the technological innovation it brings to its infrastructure management. “I have long admired Singapore for its innovative use of technology in the delivery and operation of infrastructure,” he said, “and now it is leading the world with its BIM advancements. In 2015, Singapore was designated the most ‘Tech-Ready Nation’ by The World Economic Forum’s Global Information Technology Report. In addition to Marina Bay Sands’ unrivaled conferencing facilities and luxurious accommodations is its spectacular structural design and engineering. ”
