NOTTINGHAM, UK—Global laser scanning specialist 3D Laser Mapping announced this week that it has expanded its North American business with the appointment of a vice president of sales. Based out of the company’s regional headquarters in Denver, Colo., John Arnold will be responsible for the continued development and roll out of innovative laser scanning solutions, including the world’s most accurate vehicle based mobile mapping system StreetMapper.
“This is a strategic appointment for us and shows our commitment to this region,” said Jon Chicken, managing director for 3D Laser Mapping. “John brings with him a wealth of experience of mobile and terrestrial laser scanning systems and will be the force required to stimulate sales and interest across a wide range of industry sectors.”
Arnold joins 3D Laser Mapping from a professional survey company where he was responsible for a number of transportation, architecture and historical preservation projects in which he utilized the StreetMapper system.
