RealityVirtual, a New-Zealand based virtual reality company, has generated one of the most realistic looking virtual scenes you’ll see this year. The scene explores the impressive geological formations (and one giant carving of a Maori Chiefton) on the coastline of Aotearoa.
Using UAV-based photogrammetric modeling, the company generated the scene to run at 45-90 frames per second in the Unreal 4 gaming engine. On the whole, it includes over 2.4 billion points.
RealityVirtual claims that it took two people less than a full week to produce the scene. Check it out below.
